1) Do you make use of a stronger glue in order to make it difficult to pull the stickers off?
We usually get this type of question from clients who need the stickers to be more durable on heavy machinery or for warranty purposes. However, we do not have a stronger adhesive sticker. But we can suggest that you purchase and add extra glue to your stickers when applying them. This has worked for many of our clients in the past.
2) Are our stickers matt or gloss?
The vast majority of our customers order semi-gloss stickers, but we can also print on matt as per your request.
3) How difficult is it to paste the stickers on your own?
Depends on the size. A small sticker is easy to apply. For the larger (1 m x 1 m) stickers it becomes trickier. We do not suggest this for people that haven’t previously done this before. The larger the stickers, the more difficult it is to apply. The biggest challenge is to stick it without getting "bubbles". If customers order stickers, we usually offer a free crash course on how to stick them.
4) How do I go about ordering stickers?
Send us the proof of payment of a 50% deposit together with your print ready artwork/layout (unless it is prearranged that we should redesign the artwork). After a few procedures from our side, your order will be ready in approximately 4 working days.
5) In what format must the artwork be for printing?
The format of the artwork can be supplied in either one of the following file extensions types:
True vector files:
- Corel Draw files
- Freehand files
- Photoshop Files
The Raster files must be supplied in the exact size for printing and not less than 150 dpi. If the artwork provided needs to be changed, a design fee will be asked. The design fee is calculated according to the time that will be used to change your artwork. If your artwork is not the right size or smaller than the artwork that needs to be printed, a design fee will be asked to redraw the image in a design program on scale. If artwork is not provided on the programs or file types mentioned above, we will design artwork for you to your specifications at an additional cost.
6) Printing: Why do you not charge per colour for full colour digital printing?
We use full colour digital printing machines that make use of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black ink (CMYK). These four colours are mixed together to create full colour printing. So regardless of whether you are printing one colour or multiple colours, a combination of all four colours are still being used.
7) Can a pull up Banner be used outdoors?
No not really, only if there is no wind around. Even a light breeze will blow the banner over. Otherwise you can buy the more expensive stand for the pull up banner that will also make it more stable. You can also stabilise the banner at the base with sandbags or something similar when used outdoors, but that would look sloppy. Rather ask us for a quote for an outdoor banner.
